2012 Business alliance with the world's largest full-service restaurant company, Darden Concept Inc. for the rights to manage and operate 3 of their most relevant brands Olive Garden, Red Lobster and The Capital Grille within the Mexican territory.
2009 CMR launches the "CMR Corporate University", an institutional training program aligned and oriented towards business and hospitality strategies.
2007 CMR and Brinker International Inc. inked a co-investment agreement to develop at least 50 restaurants over the next 4 years.
2006 The Company initiated in 2006 a continuous process of development incorporating and developing units and trademarks such as: "La Destilería" and "Chili´s"
1999-2002 Opening of 9 additional units of the trademark "Chili's" which are located in the cities of Guadalajara, Cancún, León, Mérida, Chihuahua, Saltillo, Monterrey and Torreón. A decision was made to sale the unproductive units and with the income of those sales to reduce in a significant manner the bank debt with cost.
1998 Brinker International Inc. grants CMR the franchise that allows it to operate the trademark "Chili´s" within the Mexican territory with exception of the metropolitan area of Mexico City and the neighboring states. The operation of Chili´s starts with 5 restaurants located within the metropolitan area of Monterrey City in the State of Nuevo León.
1997 Primary Public Offering of CMR in the Mexican Stock Exchange with the placement of 68,970,717 securities for a total amount of $172,426,793 Mx.Cy. A new era of expansion starts within the company.
1991-1996 Intense expansion of the Company with the incorporation of restaurants within the segments of specialized restaurants, cafeteria and those inside airports. Acquisition of the restaurants' franchises "Los Almendros" and "Fonda Santa Clara" (today "Fonda Mexicana").
1990 Obtainment of the concession to operate the Restaurant "El Lago" within the Chapultepec Forest in Mexico City.
1989 Incursion of CMR in the Health Sector with the opening of 3 Units inside Hospitals: "Juarez", "20 de Noviembre" and "Centro Médico Nacional" of Mexico City
1986 Acquisition of a package of 7 restaurants located in Mexico City, Chihuahua, Cancun, Ixtapa and Merida. Opening of a unit within the National Museum of Anthropology and History.
1974-1985
Expansion of the Company by the opening of new units within the metropolitan area of Mexico City and Airports outside the city. As a result of the expansion process, CMR had 36 units, with a capacity of 5,624 seats and 2,300 employees.
1972 First experience of CMR in the Specialized Restaurants segment with International food.
1971 Incursion of the Company in the sector of restaurants located in airport zones of the Cities of México, Guadalajara, Monterrey and Tampico.
1968 The Chain Wings Cafeteria and Baron Rojo is born with 3 units.
1967 Opening of the first cafeteria located in front of the International Airport of Mexico City.
1965 First cafeteria in a little airplane North Star DC4, with an initial staff of 7 employees.
